The Rushmore National Junior High Music Camp is located on the campus of Northern State University in Aberdeen, South Dakota. Students are housed in university dormitories. Students enjoy meals with the in the university dining facility. Experienced counselors supervise students at a 10-1 camper to counselor ratio. Students entering grades 6-9 are welcome to attend the junior high week camp. All students attending the junior high camp must play in band. Performance opportunities include concert band, jazz band, Cadet band, choir and Rushmore singers. Campers are able to take individual lessons by experienced music educators and professionals on each instrument. The Final Concert is held on Friday afternoon, August 7, at 1:30 p.m. on the campus of Northern State University.

An afternoon at Aberdeen's beautiful swimming facility and water slide

Various supervised card and board games, including chess
Water balloon volleyball
Concert at Melgaard Park featuring the Aberdeen Municipal Concert Band

Rates:
Thunder Road (go-carts, boats, later maze, and mini golf): 3 tickets for $15 + tax, or 2 hour wristband for $23.50 + tax.
Storybook Land (roller coaster, train, carousel, and balloon ride): $1.75 per ride per person
Roll Out: Banana bikes and choppers $7/half hour, small surrey (fits 2-3 people) $10/half hour, large surrey (fits up to 6) $17/half hour.
