The Endowment of Rushmore National Music Camp

The Rushmore National Music Camp relies upon gifts from alumni, faculty, and friends to be able to continue operations and offer quality, affordable music experiences. The Endowment of Rushmore National Music Camp is managed by the Board through a professional investor. Proceeds from growth are utilized only when necessary. Continuing reinvestment insures continuing growth in the endowment.

Deb Wantoch-Yess serves as the Director of Development for the Rushmore National Music Camp as well as being the liaison between contributors, alumni, and the Board Members. She is uniquely qualified for this position because she has been a camper, a counselor, a head counselor, a faculty member, and now a member of the Board.

Deb Wantoch-Yess serves the RMC also as director of Rushmore Singers, private voice instructor, and instructor of classes such as Vocal Techniques and Music History for Dummies. She received her BA from South Dakota State University at Brookings and has done MA work at the University of Minnesota at Mankato. She has taught instrumental and vocal music for 27 years, 22 of them in grades 9-12 vocal music at Waseca (Minnesota) High School.
